Now in L.A.

The lovely ladies from Now in L.A.'s Style Code will be interviewing me on their show, tomorrow January 29, between 2-3pm PST! You can go to Now in L.A. to listen live (no need to join for that).
If you do want to join though (you should, it's a fun site!), here are directions-

1)GO TO www.nowinla.com
click on top button "register free"
2)create a profile with as much or little info as you like .... add a picture though. It's more fun! Creating a profile allows you to "type chat" via your computer during our show or any show you like!
3) go back to home page by clicking home or the Now in La sign on the upper left hand area of the screen.
4) click the "listen now" button to listen to the current live show.
5) to join the chat just type on the text box at the bottom of the home page screen and click submit. you can only chat once you've logged in. you can listen to the show whether you're logged in or not.
6) you can call the number at the top off the screen and ask to talk to the hosts!

7) when you fill out the part about your cell # make sure to register your phone to stylecode so you can send pics from your cell. in profile setting sgo to my show and check each box that says register .
8) upload pics from the net or your computer by clicking post in the upper right area of screen ... then browse and upload as prompted just like myspace.

Forever 21...and ever and ever!

I have a love/hate relationship with Forever 21. I've been shopping there, well, forever. I even worked there for like a week in highschool, back when the only store in LA was at the Fox Hills Mall.
Love: the cute-ness of the clothes and affordable prices.
Hate: The poor fit and quality of some of said clothes.
However, sometimes the stars align and you can find some fabulous deals.

We love colors!

I've been searching high and low for some awesome tights, specifically in a bright acid green. Finally, I found a gem of a store in welovecolors.com.
A huuuuuuge selection of colors (over 45 to choose from!) in tights and footless leggings, plus awesome patterns and more. They also carry a large selection of plus sizes. Oh, they're also ridiculously affordable. Here's what I picked up for around $30, total:







I plan on wearing them with vintage dresses and boots or a nice substantial pair of heels.
